Spotswood (originally Spottiswoode) family. On the left (standing) is the eldest son John who married Ann Kirby. Seated is a cousin, Emma Wilson. Standing is Elizabeth Sophie who married George Warren Smith of Port Adelaide and is the mother of Vernon Smith. In the centre is Thomas Hugh Spotswood, who married Rebecca Porter and after she died married her sister. Seated is Kate Wilson, cousin of R.K. Spotswood, and she married Walter Kemp of Rhynie. Standing at right is Richard Keane Spotswood junior who married Lucy Smith, sister of George Warren Smith, and also married Constance Cooper after her death.
