[General description] People are lining the rails of the upper decks of the three storey pavilion at the end of the Glenelg Jetty. According to a researcher, it was built by Robert Ernest Stanley, (born 1861, died 1926) an Unley builder but historian Geoffrey Manning states that 'The pavilion was erected by Messrs Sigalis & Company at a cost of nearly £2,300 and opened by the Premier, Thomas Price, on 26 October 1907'.
