A collection of photographs relating to the life of Frank William Nelson White (1903-1970) and his wife Ruby Alice (nee Sharpe). White lived in Norwood and served as both councillor and mayor on the Norwood Council in the 1940s and 1950s.

Tram

Tram made by A. Pengelley and Company. (No details such as size, specification or extent of the company's involvement in its construction are known.) According to a researcher, it is one of three water sprinkler trams built for Adelaide's Municipal Tramways Trust in 1910. They were numbered S1 to S3. This one is S3. The last one in service was S1, withdrawn in 1959 after a period of use on the Glenelg line. It had latterly been fitted with carborundum blocks to remove track corrugations.
