On King William Road the triple fronted building housing the Swimming Baths can be seen. The Rotunda stands in Elder Park and the steeples of North Adelaide can be seen above the trees. [On back of photograph] 'North Adelaide and Government House. Government Domain and City Road'. [Note on back of image] King William Road looking north. probably in the 1880s - after November 1883 (Note - New Baths opened November 6, 1883).

Celebrating SA Women - Embroidery
Embroidery depicting 17 women including: Her Excellency, IWD Committee Patron Justice Robyn Layton QC; Betty Fisher, historian, former IWD Committee President and Women's Electoral Lobby founding member; Mary Lee, SA's women's voting rights champion; the late Gladys Elphick MBE, longstanding IWD Committee Secretary; the late Irene Bell, a woman representing those who went into the trades and other traditional men's jobs during World War II; three figures representing indigenous young women and six figures representing other culturally and linguistically diverse women involved with the IWD Committees over the years, including Chinese, Filipino, Latvian, Iranian, Italian and Greek women. The embroidery also features the State's floral emblem, Sturt's Desert Pea, the IWD Committee logo, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flag and the words, "The Spirit of the First Nation" to recognise traditional, indigenous custodianship.
