Large green and cream calico flag emblazoned with a large 'C' motive in green, for 'Colton'. Flag has two brass flag pole attachments and ropes still extant. Possibly used at the company social club and/or company sporting events.
10th Battalion Flag
Embroidered silk triptyche flag, inscribed "Won by 13th Reinf 10th Batt.". The flag was embroidered by Lady Galway and is a three panelled flag of red, an embroidered panel depicting the 'old gum tree' which was won by the '13th Reinforcement Commemoration Day Sports' and a navy blue panel, all silk.

A fragment of Sturt's boat is lying across another flag in the photograph, possibly the one carried opn the Central Australia expedition. These items were brought back to Australia by Sturt's great-grandson Anthony Napier Sturt in 1951, the first time a Charles Sturt descendant had visited Australia since the family left for England in 1853.
