Side view of 'P.S. Jumna' small two-man paddle steamer, approaching a road bridge. A researcher has provided the following information: This is P.S. Jumna on the Vasse River approaching the Causeway Bridge in Busselton Western Australia. The man in stern tending the engine is Rev. R. E. Davies the designer, builder and operator of the 'Jumna', modelled on the famous Paddle Tug Jumna, of Littlehampton Sussex England, which operated there towing sailing ships in and out of harbour in the late 1800s to early 1900s. Rev. Davies 'Jumna' ran from late 1939 to 1955 and then again in the early 1960s. 'Jumna' has been refurbished and is on display at the Busselton Historical Society's Old Butter factory Museum in Busselton.
