Summary

Side view of 'P.S. Kelpie' when a sidewheeler, possibly on Murrumbidgee River, in a narrow channel with a settlement on opposite bank, and cargo for loading. Crew and passengers on 'Kelpie' include women at the stern. The engineer of the 'Kelpie' died when he became entangled in the machinery in November 1872.
