A large statue depicting a female figure comforting a smaller kneeling figure; Searcy describes it as 'Venus opposite Adelaide Government House' but currently unknown, possibly an inter-state art work. According to a researcher, this image is identical to PRG 280/1/44/241, which features a statue with name plate "Niobe" depicting the Greek mythical figure 'Niobe' and erected in the Adelaide Botanical Gardens. It is possible the statue was either moved from the Government House location or resides as a copy, in the Adelaide Botanical Gardens.
