Kadina Motor Garage, proprietor D.W. Simpson, with five Buick automobiles lined up in front with registration plates visible. The centre vehicle, a 21.6 hp model, was registered to L.C. Beare of Kadina on 25 March 1925. A billboard on the facade advertises Buick cars and 'Indian' motor cycles.

A group of seven female dancers in ancient Greek maiden costumes posed in the archway of the Armoury complex, North Terrace. A researcher has provided the following information: 'There are two articles in Trove which provide further information on this image: "This would seem to be the same group: THE DANCE OF THE GREEK MAIDENS. (1927, MAY 14). THE ADVERTISER (ADELAIDE, SA:1889-1931), P. 14. It seems to have been a part of a pageant presented by the University Womens' Union. Pageant of Learning. (1927, May 14). The Advertiser (Adelaide, SA: 1889-1931), p. 14. Photo is one of many taken from the Pageant of Learning presented by the University Women's Union on Friday 13th of May 1927, to raise funds for the furnishing of the Lady Symon building. The pageant was depicting the progress of man through the ages and presented in the University grounds.
