General notes

This photograph taken during a trip by the Governor of South Australia, Sir George Le Hunte, to Spencer Gulf ports aboard the Marine Board steamer, Governor Musgrave. The Chronicle newspaper of 2 March 1907 reports; "A call was made at Point turton, where the party inspected the flux quarry. they were shown over the place by Mr. Shaw, of the Proprietary Company." Page 42.
