Summary

[General description] Two men converse in front of a corregated iron factory building which is set between the expanse of road in the foreground and the sky. At the rear of the building is a clump of bamboo behind a wooden picket fence. On the right is the premises of Reid Brothers (late Malcolm Reid), timber and iron merchants. [On back of photograph] 'Acre 279 / Flinders Street, south side. West corner of Ackland Street. 1909-11*. The lamp post on the extreme left is at the corner of Ifould Street.' (Another hand) 'For accurate site see B 7787/35. *Probably 1909. See B 7787/35.'
