Everyone is in their Sunday best, strolling along the seashore or picnicing amidst a jumble of beach shelters, refreshment tents, and unharnessed horses and carts. Glenelg Town Hall and esplanade buildings are seen in the background, also part of the crowded Glenelg jetty. [On back of photograph] 'Glenelg / From the Baths jetty / December 28th 1896-1900'.
