White's involvement in the Scouting movement, comprising roneoed circulars, various lists, 'The Law of the Scouts and Guides ..', telegrams, reports on activities and events, correspondence, recommendations of the Executive Committee, annual reports, papers relating to the visit of Lord & Lady Baden-Powell, letter from Baden-Powell to the Governor (handwritten & roneoed), Mafeking souvenirs sent to the Scouts at the time of Baden-Powell's visit (ribbon printed with the words 'Mafeking relieved, May 16, 1900. Bravo, Baden-Powell!; handkerchief printed with portraits captioned 'Lord Roberts of Candahar'; 'Colonel Baden-Powell the hero of Mafeking'; 'Major General Hunter'; 'Lord Kitchener, Chief of Staff'; and 'Major General French' as well as the words 'Mafeking, where Baden=Powell [sic] Defended & Defied'), and 1931 census return (from London).
