Historical information

No. 91 was an R class locomotive built by Dubs & Co., of Glasgow, Scotland. It was delivered to South Australia aboard the Firth of Lorne, commissioned in 1886 and condemned in 1935. In 1910 it was was rebuilt to Rx class specifications.
