Summary

View of Ross Smith and General Salmond speaking with officials shortly after landing the Handley Page bomber at Calcutta. The man on the far right is filming the event with a camera. Written on reverse: 'Just after we landed at Calcutta. Gen. Salmond (in the cap) talking to the Viceroy. I'm talking to Captain Gunning who went to Calcutta to arrange our landing ground. Note the damage to the right wing from hitting the tree, also the cinema at work on the extreme right'.
