View of crowds gathered at a Kolkata (Calcutta) grandstand to view the landing of Ross Smith and General Borton in the Handley Page bomber aircraft. Written on reverse: 'Our landing at Calcutta from the grandstand. This photo and the other one taken from the same place gives a good idea of the enormous crowd that was there to greet us'.
