Historical information

Martha Noblett, nee Goodes, was the second daughter of James Goodes and Emily (nee Robinson). She was born on 19 March 1861 at Gumeracha, South Australia. She married John Thomas Noblett in 1882, and they had nine children: Ellenor Martha (Nell) b.1883, Stanley James b.1884, Alfred John Harrold (Alf) b.1886, Migionette b.1888, Elsie Lena b.1891, Emily Goodes b. 1895, Hedley Lindsay b.1899, Herbert Goodes b.1902, Irvine Keith b.1904. Martha Noblett died in 1915.
