View of the front of a farm house, including aerial. The house was built for the manager on the Ungarra farm. According to a researcher, Glad's brother, Cliff Thorpe, was the builder. Wilf & Gladys married in April 1938. The house, with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, lounge, formal hallway from front entrance, enclosed back verandah, laundry and toilet was completed in 1939. When completed,the house supply of electricity at 32V was provided from batteries charged by a windmill (FreeLite). Water supply was from a rainwater tank near the rear of the house.
