'Mayotte' steel 4 masted barque 2706 tons [possibly also known as the 'Oranasia'] [steel 4 mast barque, 2706 tons, ON99416, 305.1 x 44.0 x 24.7. Built 1892 (6) Russell and Co., Port Glasgow. Owners J&W Goffey, registered Liverpool. c.1909 sold to German owners and renamed 'Alsterfee'. Later she was renamed 'Lucy Vinnen', then 'Tamara VI'. In 1921 she was sold to the Greek Government for use as a training ship and again renamed, this time becoming 'Mayotte', finally she was sold to the free port of Dantzig for use as a training ship and renamed 'Hedwig Hemsoth' and sold for breaking up in 1925]
