Owners: CS Caird, registered Greenock sold to Italian owners c.1900 without change of name. 1916 sold to Rio de Janerio and renamed 'Isis'. Sunk in Rio 1922, subsequently raised but broken up in 1925].

The iron ship 'Galatea', 1753 tons, ashore near Yarmouth on the coast of Norfolk, England. The Galatea was sailing from Hamburg for Sydney and abandoned by her crew when she ran aground. Newspapers of the time report her cargo was looted by French trawlers.

On Sept. 10, 1926 was towed out of Fremantle and scuttled off Rottnest Island in 'Ship's Graveyard'].

In 1922 sold and renamed Tiburon and not long after became Eugenia Emilia in American ownership and registered in Panama, and under this name was caught rum running and sold to Portuguese owners by the authorities and c.1924 renamed Lina. Ultimately resold by Portuguese owners and reverted to her original name. Broken up c.1936. Driven ashore in the great gale of Sept. 1, 1902 at Port Elizabeth, Algoa Bay, South Africa (See Sydney Morning Herald 4/9/02)].
