Summary

Plan of Eastern Sources of the Torrens, with portion of plan of combined surveys of the Sources, Stream and Tributaries of the Torrens shown within dotted line. (This area encompasses the Hundreds of Talunga and Tungkillo, east of Birdwood and including Mount Pleasant and Tungkillo.) Annotated to show purchases in September and October 1851 of 80 acre holdings on account of the South Australian Company in sections 7102, 7103, 7095, 7098, 7109 and 7112, shown in green. Three other sections are also shown in green for Murphy (6611), E. Wall (6624) and T. Collins (6625). Ink with watercolour wash on paper, ink notation. Scale 2 inches to 1 mile. Stamped with date 5.4.[18]52 and signature 'E.R.S.' in left hand bottom corner.
