Summary

[General description] View over premises (which appear to be a wood and scrap yard) to Torrens Lake and parklands beyond. Some of these buildings were the old Government Survey Department Stables, built in 1846, behind the site of the old City Baths and near the present site of the Festival Theatre. [On back of photograph] 'Park Lands and Torrens Lake / Looking north west from a point near the rear of the City Baths / In the eighteen eighties'.
