Summary

Wakefield Street, south side. Premises of Candler & McNamee, Contractor plumbers, was situated immediately east of St. Andrew's Church, later known as Willard Hall. These workers and the owner were responsible for making the pipes which provided the city with deep drainage. Samples of their ware are displayed on the shelf above the door.
