Summary

Photograph of the Octagon Theatre under construction, looking approximately south-southeast. The framework of the building is in place and a crane is to the left of the structure. Cars are parked close in front of the construction site. The photograph was taken from the roof of the old Elizabeth Police Station while the photographer's father inspected a leak. The Theatre was opened on 21 August 1965 and was demolished in 2001.
