Summary

Black and white photograph taken in the Flinders Ranges of a team of working horses standing beside a tree lined creek. Inscription on verso: 'Dray team at one of the channels in Narrina Creek. Poles strung on a cable proved a successful floodgate. There are 2 main channels like this. While a big flood covers about five times the distance shown here. The creek enlarges further down. This is at outlet onto the homestead flats'.
