Tucker]: 'this photo was taken in 1923 at Lock 3. PS 'Renmark' couldn't stem the tide through the navigable pass as the river was in flood and she was towing a heavily laden barge. PS 'Canally' was nearby and with her assistance, a further attempt was made. When this attempt failed, the PS 'Success' was also brought in to offer assistance and the combined power of the three paddle steamers succeeded in making it up through the navigable pass'.
