Building, with its tall decorative chimneys, is next door, then the Gresham Hotel [On back of photograph] Acres 16 and 47 / King William Street, west side / 1936 / The English & Scottish Bank stands on the north corner of Gresham Place / frontage: 25 yards / The A.M.P. building stands on the south corner of Gresham Place / Frontage: 23 yards / Presented by A.M.P. Society' (Another hand) 'A.M.P. Society / 21 King William Street / New premises opened 17th July 1936 / Architect L. Laybourne Smith'.
