Summary

An Aboriginal man, decorated with paint and playing a didjeridu, walks in front of the Adelaide War Memorial for an Indigenous Veterans Service held on 30th May 2008 to honour Aboriginal servicemen and women who served their country from the Boer War through to present day conflicts. It is estimated that about 500 Aboriginal Australians served in World War I and more than 3,000 served in World War II.
