Historical information

Jennie Groom has been working as a professional photographer since 1993, much of that time as a full time photographer for the University of Adelaide. She has received many awards at National and State level including both the South Australian AIPP Commercial and Illustrative Photographer of the Year. Her work has also been accepted into two Fuji ACMP Australian Photographers Collections. Jennie has served as the State President of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography. Her real forte is photographing people, particularly environmental portraits. In 2005, when Southlight Photo Agency closed, Jennie joined the Sunday Mail newspaper as the 'Social Photographer' part-time and still freelances during the day.
