Historical information

Winner of The Griffith Australian Championship Cup at Osborne, South Australia, on 23rd February 1924 with his hydroplane 'Century Tire'. His win over South Australia's 'Tortoise II', owned by the Rymill Brothers, enabled the trophy to be taken to Queensland for the first time since the inauguration of the race in 1910.
