Portrait thought to be of Thomas Lenox Napier Sturt, father of Captain Charles Sturt. According to Burke's 'The Landed Gentry' entry for the Sturt pedigree he died in 1837, so this image is either from the earliest photographic period, the date of death is inaccurate, or the subject is another person.
