Summary

[General description] This view is seen through the rigging of a sailing ship moored on the Port River. Men walk and cycle across Jervois bridge which is busy with traffic including an M.T.T. bus. The bridge-keeper's gallery, with its wooden octagonal control box, straddles the centre of the bridge.
