Summary

[Gemeral description] A group of men and women pose on the verandah of the old District Council of Burnside building (built in 1869). It is a square stone building with a concave iron roof verandah. The verandah is supported by wooden posts with simple fretwork decoration. The view was taken on Wednesday 21st March 1928 on the occasion of the annual employee's picnic. [On back of photograph] 'Reproduced in the Advertiser, March, 1928 / Old Burnside District Council Chamber / 1928'.
