Summary

[General description] An interesting perspective photograph showing the new Railway Station building as seen from the railyards with lines in the foreground leading to the covered station platforms. A platform on the left contains fuel for steam trains and next to it a wagon stands over a pit, probably for maintenance. North Terrace buildings are seen on the right, distant hills on the left. [On back of photograph] 'Adelaide Railway Station / looking east from the Overway Bridge / 1928 / The new station here shown was erected in 1926-28 / For views of the old building see B 2360 to B2364 and B 4872 / For site and measurements see B4898'.
