Summary

[General description] Two men stand on the pavement in front of this first Town Hall at Hindmarsh. Built c 1860, it is a square single storey stone building with a porch and shuttered windows. [On back of photograph] 'Reproduced in the "Adertiser' / First Town Hall, Hindmarsh / Situated on the Port Road on the site of the present Town Hall (1928)'.
