Summary

[General description] The old mill is silhouetted against the sky on top of a rocky hill dotted with stunted trees. This structure (1846) was built as part of a flour mill complex but never used for that purpose. Today (2013) the restored mill is surrounded by suburban houses and, fitted with a spiral staircase, provides an excellent look out over Boston Bay. [On back of photograph] 'Old mill at Port Lincoln / Jan. 11, 1918'.
