[General description] Parked cars stand in the foreground of this view, whilst city buildings form a backdrop. The four storey building on the left is the premises of Walker and Hall, manufacturers of cutlery and silverware. E.S. Wigg and Son, stationers, is next door and further along is L.G. Abbott & Company, wallpaper and paint merchants. [On back of photograph] 'Acre 144 / Grenfell Street, south side / August 3, 1927 / On the left is Coromandel Place. On the right is Gawler Place. Walker and Hall's frontage: 9.5 yards. / Cantilever verandah erected in front of all buildings in 1927.'
