Summary

[General description] This new warehouse is built from red brick and its design is influenced by Art Deco. It is photographed from a vacant lot opposite which shows evidence of recent demolition activity. [On back of photograph] 'Acre 23 / Austin Street, south side / Jan. 29,1927 / The three storey warehouse was erected on a vacant site in 1926. Compare also with B 129421 taken in 1954. / Site of new building: Near side is 72 yards west of Pulteney Street. Frontage: 9 yards.' (Another hand) 'For view of building erected in 1942-3 on site of portion of white cottage on left side, see B 12942.'
