Summary

[General description] Torrens Lake cuts across the centre of this view. In the foreground is part of the railway yards where a row of railway waggons stand in front of a long low iron building with a curved roof. Cottages stand on the banks of Torrens Lake looking out over the water across to the parklands and distant North Adelaide. In the centre right the Adelaide Oval grandstand can be seen and on the far left is the Victoria Bridge. [On back of photograph] 'Torrens Lake and North Adelaide / Probably in the eighteen eighties'. Sweet Adelaide 333.
