[General description] This boathouse has a covered balcony for spectators with boat storage at ground level. It was opened on November 2nd, 1912. [On back of photograph] 'Mercantile Rowing Club Boathouse / 21st March 1955 / The boathouse was situated about 100 yards east of the Victoria Bridge' / There is a diagram showing the Club's location.
