Summary

Prince Alfred College in the 1870's. Prince Alfred was the second son and fourth child of Queen Victoria. The land for the college was leased from Dr Benjamin Archer Kent, later bought by Charles Robin. The foundation stone was laid by HRH Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh in 1867
