Miss Horn, identified by a researcher as Emily Horn, born 12/09/1842 Reids Flat, NSW. Arrived SA 1849. Married Frederich W. Frampton 06/07/1882 Adelaide. Emily died 24/4/1924, Montpelier, Bath, England. Emily was the elder of Edward Kirk Horn's two daughters; sister to Frances (Fanny) who married Walter Frampton (see B 11286/2/7); her brother was Edward who managed Matta Mine, owned by her father and Walter Watson Hughes. Matta House (Kadina) was built for Edward in 1863. Another copy of this photograph is at B 56166.
