Summary

[General description] City buildings and light traffic, a mix of motor and horse drawn on Currie Street where smart new looking cars are parked at the kerb. An electric tram, number 87, makes its way along the centre of the road. The premises of the Adelaide Steamship Company are seen on the left, further down the sign of Colton, Palmer & Preston can be made out. A man in the foreground is sweeping the tram tracks. [On back of photograph] 'Acres 139, 140 / Currie Street / Looking west from King William Street / c. 1911'.
