Summary

Caretaker's cottage, Naracoorte Caves. William Reddan discovered Victoria Cave in 1896 and the Alexandra Cave in 1908. He was as the Caretaker of Caves and Forester of Cave Range Forest Reserve from 1887 to 1918. The cottage is about seven miles from Naracoorte in the Joanna Hundred. The photograph shows a single storey limestone cottage with creepers growing up the walls. William Reddan, a mother and child and three other women are seated in front of the cottage.
