A letter dated 6th November 1916 from Lt. McKenzie, 58th Military Sub-Division, Mount Gambier, to Nesbit & Nesbit, the solicitors representing L. and J. Jarman. It states that they have been classed as unfit for military service on medical grounds and are therefore exempted from military duty.

Papers include one pamphlet entitled "When Adelaide was Very Young: Trials and Hardships of the Pioneers.", written by George Morphett and published by the Pioneer's Society of South Australia circa 1950, at The Advertiser Printing Office, Adelaide, South Australia (which became The Griffin Press, circa 1954), and a newspaper obituary article for William Charles Maxwell Finniss 1842-1919, one of the 8 children of Boyle Travers Finniss.

French Memorial
French Memorial. "To honour the men and women of South Australia who gave their lives in France during World War I 1914-1918 and World War II 1939-1945". The memorial was unveiled by Isabelle Costa de Beauregard K.O.M., Consul General of France, and Henry Jean Loustau Cmdr. L.H., President Fédération Nationale des Anciens Combattants, on 11 November 1993. It is located to the west of the National War Memorial, North Terrace, Adelaide.
