Summary

Black and white photograph of a 'sap', a listening post consisting of a shallow, narrow and often disguised position somewhat in advance of the front trench line, and area often referred to as No Man's Land. Several soldiers can be seen sitting in the trench holding equipment. The caption for the original photograph reads 'A "T" Sap, Walker's Ridge." Image set on a sheet amongst three others.
