A researcher believes this is Harold Bowman's Prince Henry Vauxhall starting off on the Adelaide to Mount Gambier leg of the April 1912 Dunlop Relay.[Another researcher points out there are other images in the collection of this model car].

A researcher explains 'Winning this game sealed the minor premiership for North, and they then set out on an interstate trip. They played in Sydney and Ballarat before returning to Adelaide in time to play the 1st Semi Final on 4th September. Mat Kinnear broke his leg on the interstate trip and didn't play again until Round 14 1921'.

J.N. Boberg 'Around Australia' motor cyclist

J. N. Boberg of New South Wales arrived in Adelaide on 2 January 1923 having completed the first stage of a journey around Australia on a Dunlop tyred Indian Scout motorcycle. He had left Sydney on 9 December 1922 and was intending to ride to Perth via Port Augusta. The attempt came to an end in April 1923 when some distance beyond Onslow, Western Australia, Boberg ran into a telegraph pole. Advertisements on the sidecar include three for Goulding sidecars, Dunlop tyres, and Castrol oil.

Hawker brought the bright yellow bi-plane to Australia in 1914, doing numerous demonstration flights. The photo is of a flight at Randwick Racecourse, Sydney, on Saturday 21 February 1914, when Hawker took the Governor General, Lord Denman, for a flight. Hawker was killed in a flying accident in 1921.
