Summary

A crowd gathered around an open topped motor car, a circa 1911 'Prince Henry' Vauxhall, registration number 813, outside the Government Offices in King William Street, Adelaide, before its driver's departure for Sydney, New South Wales. A researcher believes this is Harold Bowman's Prince Henry Vauxhall starting off on the Adelaide to Mount Gambier leg of the April 1912 Dunlop Relay.[Another researcher points out there are other images in the collection of this model car].
