Printed souvenir card tied with a ribbon, from the Camel Corps. The front of the card bears the inscription 'Greetings from the Camel Corps' and a flag apparently representing the four separate allied forces that made up the Corps - 3rd Battalion, 1st ANZAC 8th, 3rd ANZAC 8th and 4th ANZAC 8th. Inside is a photograph of four servicemen, each on a camel and representing four nationalities (Australian, English, New Zealanders and Indian); there is a poem and the handwritten inscription 'With kindest regards / from / G.M. Chibnall / Palestine / 20/1/18'. The card was sent to Chibnall's cousin Wanda Tippett (nee Welch).

Items and papers commemorating the 1986 Jubilee re-enactment of the first England-Australia flight

Items and papers relating to the 1986 re-enactment of the first England to Australia flight by Ross and Keith Smith, with mechanics James Bennett and Walter Shiers, comprising: placemat with illustrations; wine glasses with decorative etching; Re-enactment Flight program; newsletter clipping; and correspondence. The re-enactment of the landing of Sir Ross Smith and Sir Keith Smith was organised by John Furlong on behalf of the Enfield Lions Club, and was held on Sunday 23 March 1986 at Northfield, Fosters Road. The event featured illustrated talks, a film of the building of a Vickers Vimy Bomber in 1969 for the 50th anniversary of the flight, mail drops from a Tiger Moth aircraft, memoriabilia displays, speeches and prizes, music and amusement rides, and the arrival of the replica Vickers Vimy, and was attended by Premier John Bannon and his wife. The Re-enactment Flight was part of Jubilee 150, the 150th anniversary of European settlement in South Australia, celebrated in 1986. See below for details.
