Michael Reilly was born in Cross Keys, in Cavan, Ireland in 1849, and arrived in Adelaide on 1 October 1859 on the 'Lady Ann' aged 10 years. He married Bridget Smith (d.10 March 1886) at Seven Hill on 15 August 1878, and they had five children: Ellen (b.25 November 1879), Bridget (b.19 December 1880), Mary Theresa (b.6 August 1882), Thomas (b.24 March 1884), and Michael (b.19 January 1886). Died 30 May 1905.
